Performance „Body of Water”

Water is one of the key elements of the universe. In the mythologies of various peoples of the world, water is the beginning of everything, the primary state of all existence.

The atmosphere of the experience will be created by the paintings of Rolandas Žigonis displayed in the pool area and the synchronized figures performed by the group of swimmers. The audience will be invited to become part of a meditative performance in an improvisation inspired by WATSU® and YUTSU water therapies. This practice will take place in water.

We invite you to come to the event at 1:30 p.m. At 2:00 p.m. an interactive performance program will begin (duration 60 min.).

On May 22-24, guests of “Bokšto SPA” are invited to a mysterious performance experience in the water “Water Body”.

“Bokšto SPA” will be open for this event until 4:00 p.m., so after the performance, the remaining 60 min you can use the time for pampering in the saunas and the entire Spa area.

  • The price of the event is EUR 60.
  • Registration for the event by phone or e-mail. by mail:

More

Often when we are in the water, we hold our breath and go into the experience of floating, thus reviving the primal feeling we experienced when we were still in our mother’s womb. The silence becomes palpable. When we calm down, we hear the beating of the heart in it, and with every beat of it, we begin to feel the pure, primary thought of self-experience – “I AM” in the boundless space.

The womb of the unknown is like another shore, a mythological space into which the seekers who dare to enter get inspiration and, having found it, bring to the other side the works or directions that have already been expressed in physical form. It is the water-induced memory of one’s coming into this world that becomes an analogy for the creative process, the experience of a second birth.

Creating your first NFT/ MintInk creative workshop

You’ve probably heard terms like NFT and Web3 before. How, for example, artists sell their NFT artworks for millions, or how a painting of a monkey that used to cost hundreds of thousands of dollars is now only worth a few hundred.

After coming to this creative workshop, you will learn more about these technologies, create your own artistic NFT and decide for yourself whether NFT is a scam or a new expression of creativity!

Agenda:

  • 15:00 – Doors open
  • 15:15 – 16:00 – Introduction to the world of Web3 | Thomas Tumosa
  • 16:00 – 18:00 – Creating a collaborative NFT art collection with the help of AI

More

This workshop does not require additional preparation, it is enough to have a phone or a laptop. In a few hours, you will turn from a beginner to an expert in the latest technologies.

Register now, the number of places is limited! https://lu.ma/pirmasnft

We also suggest joining the following channels to get more involved in web3 activities:

The last dinner: a performative culinary evening

In the context of the REVOLUTION festival, we invite you to experience exceptional evenings of performative food.
They will take place in VALDOVAI restaurant on May 22 and 23.

If now was our last supper, what would it be about and what would it be? What kind of people would we be in it if this was now or in the future – near or far – the last chance for everyone to enjoy food? Even more interestingly, what would we eat, especially if it took place in the future? Resources are running out, it is difficult to predict what we will be able to save, what else we will be able to restore or create thanks to science and technology.

More

The idea of the “Last Supper” contains both good and bad news. It’s great that it’s dinner; it’s a pity that it’s the last one. If it is really the last one, then it seems important, but it is not at all clear who will prepare such a dinner. It’s not clear because there are many ideas about possible end scenarios, from the Christian Armageddon to the Buddhist Seven Sauls, the technological singularity, the climate apocalypse and the black hole. The backdrop of today’s dramatic global events seems like a good time to discuss the various perspectives and what each of them offers to put on the final table.

“The Last Supper” is definitely not the last and not quite a dinner – it is a performative culinary evening, during which we will gather in historical dungeons, protected from the calamities of the collapsing world, for the rituals of the end of the world and their tastes.

Mystery „Peace Day”

May 23 19:30 in an exclusive Vilnius space, St. At the Trinity Greek Rite Catholic Church, the Lithuanian Association of People with Disabilities and the Lithuanian Symphony Wind Orchestra will present the socially inclusive mystery “Peace Day”.

This interdisciplinary work is a creative collaboration of professional artists and art collectives of people with disabilities, which calls for beauty, harmony, and peace, so necessary in the face of the devastating war in Ukraine. According to one of the authors of the work, composer Snieguolė Dikčiūtė, “art, music and other branches of art are very important for the integration of people with disabilities, works involving disabled people in the creative and performing processes act as a kind of therapy, and partnership with professional artists is mutually valuable”. At the center of the idea of mystery is the constant human pursuit of harmony and peace.

More

Although the themes explored in the mystery “Day of Peace” are universal, the ongoing war in Ukraine inevitably influenced the artistic decisions of the creators and the conception of the mystery itself. On the vaults of the church, a video installation by Ukrainian film director Aleksandrs Dyrdovskis, currently living in Lithuania, will be broadcast, where we will see images of Ukrainian nature, meadows, and peaceful life. It will be accompanied by a musical piece by Snieguolė Dikčiūtė performed by the Lithuanian Symphony Wind Orchestra (chief conductor Karolis Variakojis), together with a video projection creating an image of an imaginary path leading to peace, consistency and harmony.

This world of aspiration will also be reflected in the dramatic action on stage, performed by the musical theater troupe of the Lithuanian People with Disabilities Union (leader S. Dikčiūtė) and the jazz collective “Luvhurts”, live painting action (artists Audronė Brazauskaitė and Vilma Aleksienė).

The idyllic beauty created by them will be interrupted by the sound of brutality, aggression and war performed by Marius Mockevičius, and the whole piece will be accompanied by the improvisation of the saxophonist Kornelijas Pukinskis – taking on the symbolism of the main character, a soldier, in the mystery.

The organizer of the mystery is the Union of Lithuanian People with Disabilities, the director is Saulius Čėpla.

Teatras P is a troupe of professional artists, which started its first steps in 2010, creating performances of poetic action for children and young people, where Lithuanian poetry intertwines with autobiographical stories of actors, and live music.

The mission is to bring poetry to those who do not read it. Performances are characterized by playfulness, humor and an authentic connection with the audience.

KARINA PANINA „Ne savo batuose”

Karina Panina – Clothing designer and sculptor.

Each of my creative processes starts with a thought that excites me at a specific moment, then I look for a visual object from everyday life for that thought, which could encode the symbolic meaning of that thought. At the exhibition, I will present an exhibition of clothes from the part of my latest collection, “Not in my shoes”.

Exhibition times: May 23rd and 24th from 10:00 to 17:30.

You will find the exhibition on the first floor of the Vilnius Town Hall. The exhibition is free.

More

  • One of the main goals of the collection becomes, with the help of the dynamics of the details scattered on the garment, to raise the question to the viewer: how much they are motivated by getting lost, leaving a stable state, and how much is destructive and scattered like a person.

Adapting the image of a Lego block to the construction of a garment, I look for innovative connections of garment details, creating costumes with authentic silhouettes. The leitmotif of the collection becomes the shoes that resemble Lego legs, which on the one hand, clinging to the Lego plane, represent stability, but actually when walking in them, the stability disappears.” The exhibition will consist of works inspired by Lego bricks, which in some places are depicted directly, and in others are abstracted to the many details of worn clothes.

The exposition will be complemented by other objects created during the study period of this topic.
