REVOLUTION 2024 RULES AND CATEGORIES
KEY DATES
March 7-31, 2024: Application submission period (early submission fee – 150 EUR + VAT)
April 30 – May 6, 2024: Application submission period (late submission fee – 300 EUR + VAT)
May 10, 2024: Shortlist of three best projects in each category announced on the competition’s website
May 23 – 24, 2024: Live presentations of the competition finalists (nominees will have the opportunity to persuade a highly qualified international jury that they deserve the award. All participants and guests are welcome to attend the live presentations and discover the best creative solutions developed by top event and communication agencies)
May 24, 2024: Awards Ceremony
GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS
- All events submitted to the competition must be implemented and completed between March 1, 2023, and March 1, 2024.
Commercial or non-commercial events organized by event industry institutions located anywhere in the world, including event agencies, public relations and communication agencies, advertising agencies, internet agencies, corporate businesses, public institutions, associations, non-governmental and non-profit organizations, etc., may be submitted to the competition.
- If an event was created by more than one author (agency, company in-house department, freelancer, etc.), only one submission representing the event can be made by one entity, and the applicant must obtain prior agreement with other relevant parties. If two different participants submit applications for the same event, only the first application (based on timestamp) will be accepted. The Entrant is responsible for ensuring that the commissioning client has the legal right to use any intellectual property related to the client or brand that is used or communicated in the entry.
- Entrants must obtain prior permission from the client/owner of the communication case’s rights before submitting an entry. The Competition organizers reserve the right to request written proof of this permission at any time. The Competition applicant is responsible for ensuring that they have obtained the client or company’s agreement to submit the project to the Competition.
- An application will be considered submitted only when all required fields are fully filled out on the online entry form available at wearerevolution.lt, the required materials have been uploaded, and the full payment has been made in accordance with the entry deadlines. Withdrawal or removal of submitted applications from the competition is not possible.
- All applications must be submitted online using the form
- Each event can be submitted in one or more categories, but no more than 3.
- No replacement or additional material will be accepted once an entry has been submitted and accepted by the Competition’s organizer. After the deadline, submitted materials cannot be amended.
- Projects with incomplete or unpaid materials will not be considered submitted and therefore will not be eligible to compete in the Competition.
- Due to the presence of an international jury, English is the official language of the Competition. Therefore, all non-English materials must be translated and/or subtitled, unless otherwise specified.
- The applicant is responsible for paying all entry fees and participating in the competition. Multiple companies can be credited for their contributions to the project. Please ensure that all contributing companies are credited on your entry form before finalizing your submission.
- Budgetary institutions may submit their applications free of charge.
- Entries that are not processed due to reasons beyond the control of REKŪRAI GROUP will not be refunded.
- Applications can be supported by additional visual information. The title of the project must also be given in the original language and in English.
- All material, documentation, and payments must be received by 5.00 PM on May 6, 2024.
- Events are evaluated and awarded based on their concept, execution, and planning as a whole, regardless of the role played by the agency, company, or organization submitting them.
- Each Competition category only awards the absolute category winners.
- During the Competition awards ceremony, the award will be presented only to the submitting and paying candidate, regardless of the number of organizing agencies or other parties listed in the project application form.
CATEGORIES
The applications submitted for the competition will be evaluated in the following categories:
- B2B events – Event or campaign designed to create and strengthen business relationships: trade fairs, debates, seminars, business parties, exhibitions, etc.
- B2C events – Event or campaign aimed at engaging the end consumer, such as consumer shows, exhibitions, personal parties, weddings etc.
- Conferences, meetings, expos – Best conference, meeting, or expo event, regardless of topic, location, size, and target audience.
- Customer engagement events – Customer-centric events created to foster the relationship with existing customers or engage target customers (e.g. consumer shows, promotional events, product launch events, etc.)
- Festivals – Any event that celebrates a specific theme, such as music, film, art, food, dance, or cultural traditions. It can be a one-time or recurring event that involves various activities, performances, and attractions for attendees.
- Cultural events – All events that promote culture or cultural sensitivity, including parades, shows, art exhibitions, music or dance events, festivals, fairs, theaters, etc.
- Non-profit/ social responsibility events – Events aimed at supporting social causes, raising awareness, donations, and promoting positive community impact through non-profit initiatives and corporate social responsibility efforts.
- Sports and tournaments – Events centered around sports activities or competitions, including tournaments, matches, races, esport events and sporting exhibitions.
- Virtual events – webinars, virtual conferences, digital trade shows, virtual product launches, workshops, metaverse events.
- B2E events – Events specifically organized for a company’s employees, aimed at fostering team spirit, professional development, or employee engagement, including team-building activities, training sessions, employee appreciation events, and company retreats.
- Creative installation, scenography, décor – Events focusing on the artistic and aesthetic aspects of design and decoration, including innovative installations, stage setups, thematic décor, and immersive environments.
- Best event concept – Recognition for the most innovative and effective overall event concept, considering factors such as creativity, originality, audience engagement, and alignment with event objectives.
EVALUATION
- The applications submitted for the competition will be evaluated by the international jury comprised of specialists from various fields. Jury members will assess each application on a scale of 1 to 10 based on the following criteria:
- Creativity and innovation of the event.
- The results of the event and the effectiveness of selected measures.
- Sustainability of the event.
- Engagement of event participants.
- Publicity and resonance of the event.
- Presentation of the project.

- The three highest-scoring projects in each category are required to be presented at the REVOLUTION conference on May 23 – 24. Presentations must not exceed 3 minutes and must be delivered in English.
- Presenters are free to choose the format for presenting their projects, but finalists are requested to present their projects live (not just via video recording) and answer questions from the jury.
- Presentations of the selected projects for the competition final must be sent by email to the address specified by the organizers no later than 17:00 on May 19th, 2024. The email must include: 1) category, 2) applicant’s name, 3) project title, and 4) contact person. The filename of the submitted PPT presentation must include the category, project title, and author.
- The jury reserves the right to modify the competition rules if necessary.
- The competition organizer may reject submitted projects that offend national or religious sentiments, discriminate against any social group, or promote illegal activities.
